Lancashire County Council are running a campaign to promote the good work of our highways maintenance service and encourage online participation in the NHT (National Highways and Transport) survey. A new video will be launched of people's frequently asked questions answered by our highways engineers, with a call to action to complete the survey, which ends in Feb 21.

Thirty local people are helping to develop a new action plan to tackle one of the biggest issues facing the world today - climate change.

We wanted to remind you that our Emergency Assistance Grant Scheme is still available for residents who have been affected by COVID19. This scheme is for residents who cannot afford essential bills, food, and household appliances. It can also be used to help buy school uniforms.
