Middleton Road is to be closed for resurfacing works on the railway bridge next to Heysham Golf Club. The road will be closed to motor vehicles daily between 8am and 6pm from Thursday 9th May 2024 until Tuesday 14th May 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
Pedestrian and cycle access will not be affected.
Stagecoach have informed us that the buses will be allowed through the roadworks, so the bus route will not be affected although there may be delays to some services.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Lancaster Road and the Bay Gateway.
