Lancashire County Council have notified that part of Low Road, Middleton will be closed from Wednesday 15th October until Friday 17th October 2025 to allow water connection works including new medium sided connection and disconnection of old lead supply works to be carried out by Networks Plus on behalf of United Utilities.
Lancashire County Council has announced changes to many bus services in August 2025, including changes to the timetable of the number 5 (Overton - Middleton - Heysham - Morecambe - Carnforth).
Middleton Road is to be closed for resurfacing works on the railway bridge next to Heysham Golf Club. The road will be closed to motor vehicles daily between 8am and 6pm from Thursday 9th May 2024 until Tuesday 14th May 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
